SkyFi™ 2000
by Flight Deck Resources™
The SkyFi 2000 eliminates the need to run data cables from a GPS or satellite weather receiver to your Class 1 or 2 Electronic Flight Bag. With its two RS-232/422/485 ports the SkyFi 2000 can deliver satellite weather and GPS information to your EFB simultaneously without wires. The SkyFi 2000 is a compact, portable device that can operate on 12 - 48 VDC, no batteries needed. The SkyFi 2000 converts the signal from a satellite weather or GPS receiver to a standard 802.11 wireless signal that can be accessed by any EFB equipped with a wireless adapter such as the SkyTab line of EFBs from Flight Deck Resources. The SkyFi 2000 is easily configured and provides a secure means to access your GPS and satellite weather data without cables.
