  • Digitally tuned automatic direction finder capable of tuning the frequency range of 200KHz - 1799KHz in 1 KHz increments
  • Includes audio muting, a BFO, internal 400Hz power capable of driving two RMIs and a phase modulated pointing system
  • Typically used with KFS-580B which allows the operator to control function, volume, frequency selection, and BFO
  • Typically used with KA-36 loop antenna with seperate sense antenna or KA-42B combined loop/sense antenna with KA-135 matching assembly
  • Can be used with nav indicators such as KNI-580 and KNI-585
